I got into this band while living in New Zealand. If you like the band Garbage, you will LOVE Stellar* Awards won at Bobo's Vacations Bobo's Vegas Vacation is the photo-story of what happens when a stuffed dog is left to his own devices in North America's answer to "The City Of Lights"--Las Vegas. Bobo's Vegas Vacation was chosen as "The Cool Canadian Site Of The Day" on December 10, 1996. Also on December 10, 1996, Bobo's Vegas Vacation was bestowed with the award for "Cool Site Of The Hour" for that most coveted time slot of 9:00am. Bobo's Vegas Vacation was also chosen as the "Cool Dog Site Of The Day" on December 26, 1996. Bobo's Vacations are very proud of winning this Five Star award from the fine people at HumourSearch (spelled the american way!!) Ahhh, more recognition in Canada. Allie, who gave Bobo this award, has one of the coolest Canadian sites out there. Great graphics, and LOTS of great and funny links. A site definitely worth checking out. Awards won for the Star Wars Blooper Guide The Star Wars Tilogy Blooper Guide has been a pet project of mine since 1995. Originally started as a text file as a joke, in the middle of 1996 it came online as the first HTMLized Blooper Page on the Internet. Since that time, it's recieved numerous hits, numerous sightings in various media, and numerous awards. Here are what it's won so far.
Jared Wold has taken it upon himself to go out there and search for some of the best Star Wars websites on the Internet and rate them. Only a select few get four (Death) Stars. Adam Pawlus is probably one of the most respected names on the Internet when it comes to Star Wars. He puts out a newsletter on a regular basis focusing on the collecting aspect of the trilogy. He also puts out his "Top Site" awards to let people know you're reading a "worthy" Star Wars website. Internet Underground is a great magazine which looks at the internet with in a slightly different way than the rest. They found yours truly and his site to be good enough for their readers to check out. In the March 1997 issue of Yahoo! Internet Life magazine, their cover story was the Star Wars phenomenon. One of the feature articles was the Top 10 Star Wars sites on the Internet. The Blooper Guide has found it's way into that list, and into your hearts. The fine people at this site have made it their duty to search out the best sites on the Net. February 3, 1997 marked the date when the Los Angeles Times Newspaper picked my Star Wars site as one of their favourites. Thanks guys! I picked up this great award on May 3, 1997. May 18, 1997 saw me recieve the Yoda Award for "a vast amount of Star Wars knowledge". Thanks guys!! On August 27th, I received the above award for creating an informative Star Wars site. DT&T stands for "Deathstar Terror and Triumph". The fine folks at the Cybertown Star Wars Page put me on their honour roll. Bryan of "Bryan's Star Wars Site" gave me this award. Thanks!! Being Canadian myself, I'm very proud to receive a Golden Carbonite Award from the great folks at the Canadian Collectors Cantina Website. On February 26, 1998, SITEings Online Magazine pronounced me as one of their Top 5 Websites. Many thanks to the fine folks over there. On December 23, 1997, the "unique" folks at the "Star Site Award" page gave me their highest honours. On November 25, 1997, Aunt Beru herself gave me her award of Excellence. You people are too good to me. LordBFett gave me his top prize. You're all making me blush Prince Xizor thinks my site is one of the top 5% of all Star Wars sites. Who am I to argue. Thanks. June 17th saw me receive this great award from the TK421 Appreciation Society. Much appreciated. I received this award (my first in about 4 months) from the guys at "The Comlink". Thanks a lot guys!! Well, not sure if I should be proud of this one or not . . . because, this guy thinks we need help, but . . oh well.
Thank you Mr. Gattman! Links My good friend in Oakville, Ontario has a great page that is to Superman and DC Comics as what I am to Stuffed Dogs and Star Wars movies. His name is Ed Dillon, and his page is "The Daily Planet". You can find his page at: http://www.globalserve.net/~ejdylan William Walter decided that just showing bloopers in one set of movies like I did, he would instead let one and all see the bloopers in EVERY movie. Check out his great page here: http://www.oaktree.net/tigger/mishap.html This is Charlie's Star Wars page.
