If I didn't know better, I'd think Bobo wanted to join the military. First he pretended to lead the Korean troops, and now he escorts this high ranking officer by riding in his hat while he scouts out the area. I don't think you have to worry though. I hear the armed forces have minimum height requirements.

Bobo couldn't resist taking the subway under the Potomac River to go see the incredibly beautiful, and incredibly LARGE Iwo Jima memorial. Probably the favourite of both Bobo and his master, we sat for quite a long time in awe of this wonderful sculpture. Picture Of Bobo at the Iwo Jima Memorial.

Bobo's Washington DC Vacation

And here is the beginning of the end of this vacation. Bobo REALLY wanted to meet President Clinton. However, the lineup to take the tour was WAY too long, and his efforts to become an Ambassador from Canada were rejected, so, Bobo had to resort to more illicit ways to meet the President. That's right, Bobo used his size to his advantage, and slipped between the bars of the gate protecting the White House. Well, almost . . . . .

For you see, before Bobo could get very far into the grounds, Bobo got busted. Here you can see Bobo getting a talking to from a very nice officer of the United States Park Police, accompanied by his trusty animal sidekick, Skye the horse. Fortunately, the officer holding Bobo decided that he wanted to avoid an international incident if Bobo promised to leave the city immediately. And, wanting to leave before the officer did a background check for outstanding warrants, Bobo complied, and dragged his master back to Canadian soil. So, once again, we find ourselves at the end of another journey. Bobo and Jeremy would like to thank everyone who helped make this possible. Jan and Jacquie at Thrify Rental Car, Mitch (our travelling companion), the United States Park Police Horse Skye, for not mistaking Bobo as a salt lick.

Bobo would NOT like to thank the guards at the F.B.I. for not having a sense of humour with getting their picture taken.

And lastly, I would like to thank everyone for dropping by, and sharing yet another vacation with us. If you have any comments or suggestions, you can always reach either of us at ego@egosystem.com. So until next time . . . .
