SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A BLOOPER
-
Please specify the following before sending in a submission:
-
The movie from which it came.
-
The
EXACT
scene from the movie, including any lines spoken or
visuals that will help me find the blooper itself.
-
What happens in the scene
-
Do not send bloopers that are already on the list. It may sound stupid,
and I shouldn't have to ask, but you would be suprised as to how many bloopers
get sent to me every day that are already on the list.
-
Please send your REAL name. Nicknames, user ID's and email addresses
will NOT be used in the credits section.
-
Although it's not necessary, I like to know how people stumble across
the blooper list, so if you don't mind, I'd like to hear the homepage that
referred you here.
BLOOPERS
NOT
TO
SEND!!
I often get sent the following submissions, which, for reasons
explained below, will not be included in this blooper list. So please,
do not ask me to include them. Submissions of the following bloopers will
be immediately deleted as I do not have time to reply to them.
-
Luke Skywalker calling out "Carrie" instead of Leia at the
end of Star Wars IV: A New Hope. Both George Lucas and Mark Hammil have
testified that he only lets out an excited "Hey." Personally,
I don't hear anything but a scream of joy after destroying the Death Star.
I do not hear Carrie, and neither do a lot of other people. A lot of people
out there do, and maybe he does, but I don't believe it.
-
Ewoks speaking english in Star Wars VI: Return Of The Jedi. Although
it may sound like it, they do not say "That guy's wise." That
would instantaneously comprimise the integrigy (HA!! :) of the film,
and it just doesn't make sense. The whole point to that movie was that
these little creatures who couldn't be much further from "civilization"
in all aspects could overthrow an apparently insurmountable task.
HOW THE LIST IS DONE
Unfortunately, due to the immense amount of response I get from all of you,
I am no longer able to respond to every blooper submitted to me. Do rest
assured that as soon as you hit the submit button, it will get to me. I
read and save each and every one.
Whenever I get a weekend to myself that I can work on the list, I watch
the trilogy for the bloopers and put out the updated list on the Sunday
evening.
Now, with all the unpleasant formalities out of the way, I want to hear
what you have to say to me! :)
