WHAT'S NEW?

It is now with GREAT pleasure that I announce the return of the
Downloadable Blooper Guides. Using
Adobe Acrobat,
I have created a document that you all can download, read in your own time,
and even print out for viewing later, yet cannot be copied or altered by the
theifs who want to steal this site's content for their own websites without
permission or credit.
The downloadable version is not meant to replace the copy here on the internet,
and in the interest of file size and download times, it is not as fancy, nor
does it have pictures of the bloopers themselves. But it does act as a great
supplement to everything here at the site.
So, for those who are interested, I invite you to head to our Download Page
and view screenshots of the downloadable guide, and get a copy for yourself.
Of course, these will be updated along with the content of the site when new
updates are made. Enjoy, and see you all in a few weeks.

Hi everybody. Well, what do you think of the new look to the
page. I know it was promised a LONG time ago but, with moving and
work, I'm sure you can imagine how little time a webpage can get when it's
just a hobby. So . . . what's new here at the page. Well, a
brand new look, a brand new way of presenting the bloopers and I hope it's
just a lot more user friendly for you guys. Still a lot of new bloopers
that have to go up (in fact, I've got over 125 bloopers to look for that have
been submitted over the past few months), but at the moment, my video capture
card has died, and my VCR isn't working, so . . . that will just have to wait
for another day, hopefully not too far away.

Finally, something new on the page!!
Once again, my apologies for not being around much these past, well,
FAR too many months . . . . but, I haven't been unproductive. I've now
prepared a sneak preview of what the new Episode 1 Bloopers Page will look
like. Follow the link to check it out. And, I'd really like to hear what you
all think about the new look, the new design, the new logo for the blooper
guide (which is hidden in the collage at the top of the new page.)
So, please email me at bloopers@egosystem.com
with your thoughts.
Thanks, and I'll see you soon.

Hi everybody. Just wanted to answer a few questions that I've been
getting.
Yes, I know that there hasn't been much by way of updates lately. It's
been tough getting some free time to update the page lately, but, I'm working
on a new design to make this page better than ever.
And finally, yes, I will be making a blooper page for The Phantom Menace.
I already have a few bloopers, and if you have any, please, by all means,
submit them, and when the new design is ready, the bloopers will show up.
Thanks, and I'll see you soon.

Just wanted to remind everyone that is using the NetMinder service
to monitor for changes on my page, that you'll have to resubscribe to the
new address of the Blooper Guide, or else you'll miss whatever changes
come your way.
For the moment, the submissions form is back up. It may go down again
sometime in the future when I get the other CGI script to work, but, at
least it gets me back in touch with everyone.
Thanks folks, and I'll talk to you at the next update.

Hi everybody. Welcome to the new home of the Star Wars Trilogy Blooper
Guide here at EGOSYSTEM.COM. I'd like to thank
the wonderful people at ECHOSTATION.COM
for hosting us here. So, I hope everyone found their way okay, and will
continue to enjoy the fun here at the site.
For the moment, not much new to tell you. Same content, nothing new.
Just a very slight change to the look of the site. There will be more to
come, but for now, the move has taken up my time.
While we're under construction, you'll find a few things not working.
The counters aren't up and going (not that anyone cares), but more importantly,
the submission form isn't working. So, you'll have to send all blooper
submissions, via email, to bloopers@egosystem.com.

Hi folks. Sorry. No new bloopers on the page for you with this update.
I just got back from a vacation in Washington DC, U.S.A, where I saw the
Star Wars: The Magic Of Myth exhibit at
the Smithsonian Institute. You can read about my trip to Washington DC at
Bobo's Vacations. And I can't give a more
enthusiastic recommendation to go see it. What an incredible way to celebrate
the end of the original trilogy of movies, and welcome in a new trilogy
that's only a year away. But, seeing as I just got back, don't expect too
much from me!! hehehe
Anyways, the reason for the update is to put the new graphic for the
Star Wars Alliance (of which I am a proud member), on the main page. They
have done a LOT of work over there to make the site even better than it
was to begin with, and I really recommend checking it out.
For those who are not familiar with the Star Wars Alliance, the purpose of
the site is to catalog the best of the best of all the Star Wars
sites on the Internet. The odds are that they have a site that has the
information you're looking for. Whether it be production photos, scripts,
video captures, and yes, even bloopers, this is the place you want to be.
And now back to our regularly scheduled bloopers.

Hi everybody. Cosmetic changes going on here at the blooper guide.
A brand new opening screen. I've wanted to change it to something a bit
more inviting for some time, but just couldn't think up of an idea of how
to do it. All I knew is that I wanted to get that confusingly huge table
off of the page. So, I hope you enjoy the new front end, and pay attention
to Admiral Ackbar's greeting! :)
Now here is where you guys and gals get to have your say in it. Do you
like the new look of the page? Do you hate it? Should I try to redesign
the other pages in the blooper guide too? Do you really wish you had some
potato chips to munch on right now? Well, I can't do anything about the
last one, but I would like to hear what you think of the new look of the
page. I probably won't be able to get back to you, but I will listen to
all the comments and criticism you have to give me. Why not email me at
ego@egosystem.com
and have your say.
I still have all sorts of bloopers to check through, and I may even
do a few vidcaps from The Empire Strikes Back
tomorrow too, should the mood strike me.

Hi folks. Sorry to alarm you all and make you think there was an update,
but alas, nothing has changed on the list. I just wanted to make this change
to reflect that the person who had been displaying the blooper list (as
mentioned in the Feb. 8 update) while claiming total credit for himself
has taken the list down. I just want to say thanks to everyone who wrote
regarding the issue, and a special thanks to "Tremor" himself for finally
getting in contact with me and removing the list.
As for updates, as you can guess, the next step is to get some video
captures from the other two movies. The only problem is, is that I won't
have enough space to put all the pictures up. So, if anyone has any ideas
. . . .
I also have about 100 bloopers to check out when I have a weekend with
nothing to do (yeah, that happens a lot). So, until next time . . .

Added video captures of bloopers it was possible to get pictures of for
Star Wars IV: A New Hope. If there is a picture
to be viewed, the word PICTURE will be found at the bottom of
each blooper. In the coming months, look for video captures from the other
two movies. No new bloopers were added or deleted with this update. I've got
almost 100 to sort through, but I didn't have the time to do them this
weekend. Next time!!
Also, I've recently found a fellow named Tremor who has taken it upon
himself to copy my list word for word, and strip out any credit to myself,
as well as all credit to you, the fine people who have submitted the bloopers
to this site. And, to top it all off, he makes it appear that he wrote
it all himself. After a futile argument with the legal advisor for Voicenet,
he would not make the user remove the page. So, if you are as upset about
this as I am, perhaps you'd like to send a POLITE letter to mister Tremor
regarding his/my page to tell him what a immoral act this is.

Added the "What's New?" page, as well as (finally), a link to download
the entire file in ASCII text format. For the time being, the word
processor formatted versions of the blooper list have been put on hold.
I'm planning the next major update to take place over the Christmas
holidays. Of course it will have the most recently discovered bloopers,
but (and hold on to your hats), video captures of the bloopers (when
applicable) to help you find them yourselves.
And finally, I can't stress this enough. When sending in bloopers
for my review, PLEASE read over the submission guidelines, and don't send
me bloopers that are already on the list. The next person who mails
me that a stormtrooper hits his head . . . . .POW!!!
